The Microbial World
Microbial community analysis through DNA sequencing has opened up a new approach to understanding the world around us. This talk will describe field studies in various environments including arctic marine sediments where oil-degrading microbes may be “first responders” in the event of an oil spill.
Speaker: Dr. Rhonda Clark is the Research Project Coordinator for the Geomicrobiology group and Project Manager of the Genome Canada GENICE project at the University of Calgary.
