Stories about Beauty and Aging
There are pervasive and dominant stories about beauty and aging that both facilitate and limit how people experience themselves. In this session we will explore stories of beauty and aging, pushing our thinking towards a narrative conception of beauty and aging as a form of counterstory to dominant societal messages about what it means to be beautiful and how that beauty is lost as we age.

Dr. Andrew Estefan, Associate Dean, Teaching and Learning, Faculty of Nursing, U of C.

To register for the series contact Pat Hogan culture@calgarylifelonglearners.ca

Drop–ins are also welcome.
