Philosophy in Everyday Life
Believe it or not, we can encounter philosophical issues when thinking about mundane matters such as pot-luck suppers, medical advice, and ungrateful grandchildren. We will see how this happens, considering how varying assumptions and values lead to philosophical questions. Examples for discussion will be posed by participants who may draw from personal experience, fiction, history, or news.
