The Diviners by Margaret Laurence
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Margaret Laurence. Join us to read, or reread, her final book, The Diviners, considered to be the most autobiographical of her novels. Laurence examines small town social structures, the relationships between parents and children, feminism, the craft of writing, and the meaning of home.
Participants are asked to read at least the first two parts by the first meeting.
