The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra offers seniors a unique way to experience the orchestra. The CPO has open rehearsals for seniors for select performances. It is a great opportunity to see and hear how an orchestra prepares for a performance.

Tickets are only $15.00 cash. The CPO needs to know how many of us are coming to each rehearsal. To get that information, Facilitator Wendy Lomnes sends out an email about ten days before a rehearsal asking those who have signed up for this group to respond with a rousing YES if they plan to attend. Wendy often includes comments and musical questions in that email.

Wendy comes from a musical family, she had classical piano training as a child, developed a strong interest in classical music and became a big supporter of the CPO. As retirement from her geological career came closer, she became more involved in jazz and became a jazz singer as a retirement career.
