Alberta Views Magazine Discussion Group
NOTE: Alberta Views has changed our meeting day and time. Starting Sept. 20, we will meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 1PM - 3PM
Alberta Views ( http://albertaviews.ca ) is a magazine following issues relating strongly to Alberta, with 10 issues per year.
January and February combines two months together, and the same is with July-August The format of group discussion is planned to be fairly informal, with participants taking a thoughtful look at issues in the most recent magazines. Individuals can take turns and lead discussion on chosen articles, or just contribute to discussion as the motivation takes. We will aim to advise the group on the 2 to 4 main topics coming up for discussion, and who will present. Reading the associated articles will be useful preparation, in whatever depth suits the interest of the individual.
The approach taken in meetings may develop and change as the group determines its preferences.
Parking on street and some onsite.Potential guests should be approved by the facilitator. Drop-ins welcome. If you let the facilitator know ahead of time, the list of readings can be forwarded.
