Juliet’s Answer: The Story of the Real Letters to Shakespeare’s Fictional Heroine

Speaker: Glenn Dixon

Ten thousand letters a year arrive at a tiny office in Verona, Italy. All of them are addressed to Shakespeare’s Juliet. They ask about love and heartbreak and they come from all over the world. For many decades a remarkable group of women have been answering each and every letter and in 2014 author Glenn Dixon traveled to Italy to work with them. He could not possibly have expected what would happen. The result was the national best selling book, Juliet’s Answer, and he will speak in his presentation to its creation as well as show video from the beautiful and ancient city of Verona.
